UNITED GRINDING Group expands product portfolio through strategic acquisition

The UNITED GRINDING Group intends to acquire the GF Machining Solutions Division (GFMS) of Georg Fischer AG (GF), Schaffhausen (Switzerland).

 

UNITED GRINDING Group today announces the signing of an agreement with Georg Fischer AG (GF) to acquire its GF Machining Solutions Division (GFMS) with the aim of strengthening its position in the market and serving its global customers with even more comprehensive solutions. Together, UNITED GRINDING and GFMS will join forces to become a global leader in ultra-precision machining. The transaction is valued between CHF 630 and 650 million and is expected to close in Q1/Q2 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
